GCG's members spent their careers in public service, and the consortium keeps that habit. Outside our client work we give time, introductions and our name to organisations doing work we would have relied on ourselves: first responder wellbeing, and the professional networks that keep policing and counter-terrorism leaders in contact across borders. Each entry below says what the organisation does, why it matters to GCG and what we actually do for them.
Fortem Australia
First responder wellbeing
An Australian charity dedicated to the mental health and wellbeing of first responders and their families — supporting police, fire, ambulance and emergency services personnel through wellbeing activities, clinical support and career transition programmes.
Why it matters to GCG
Fortem supports first responders and their families through clinical care and career transition — the same ground GCG's wellbeing work covers, in the country where much of the consortium is based.
What we do
GCG promotes Fortem's work across its networks in Australia and internationally, and follows the standard Fortem sets for first responder support in its own wellbeing work.
International Association of Chiefs of Police
Professional association
The world's largest professional association for police leaders, advancing the policing profession through advocacy, research, outreach and education, with members across more than 170 countries.
Why it matters to GCG
The IACP convenes the executive police leaders GCG exists to serve, and GCG shares its aim of professionalising policing worldwide.
What we do
GCG co-designed and delivers the Global Executive Leadership Summit (GELS) with the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police. It is a leadership programme for police chiefs, commissioners and senior executives.

AIRPOL
Policing network
The European network of airport police services and border guard units, strengthening the security of civil aviation by sharing best practice, coordinating activity and developing common standards across Europe's airports.
Why it matters to GCG
Aviation and transport security is a core GCG discipline — consortium members have held senior command of airport, transport and border policing operations.
What we do
GCG supports AIRPOL's community of practice, contributing frontline-tested expertise in aviation security, counter-terrorism and the protection of crowded places.
The The Leadership in Counter Terrorism Alumni Association Association
Alumni association
The alumni association of the Leadership in Counter Terrorism (LinCT) programme, keeping senior counter-terrorism leaders from police and intelligence agencies connected across borders for continued professional development and international cooperation.
Why it matters to GCG
Consortium members are LinCT alumni, and the association's purpose — lasting international networks of counter-terrorism leaders — mirrors how GCG itself works.
What we do
GCG supports the association's professional development programme, and its members remain active contributors to the LinCT-AA international network.

Oscar Kilo World
Policing wellbeing
The international home of Oscar Kilo, extending the evidence-based policing wellbeing approach pioneered by the UK's National Police Wellbeing Service to police services around the world.
Why it matters to GCG
Officer and staff wellbeing underpins operational performance — a conviction GCG shares. Oscar Kilo's evidence-based framework is the basis of the consortium's wellbeing practice.
What we do
GCG built GCG Wellbeing with Oscar Kilo: a wellbeing programme for public safety organisations that puts prevention before treatment. It takes the Oscar Kilo framework to organisations outside the UK, as part of the People & Performance practice.
