Accessibility statement
We want every visitor to be able to use this website — whatever technology they use to browse it.
Last reviewed: 17 July 2026
Our commitment
Global Consortium Group is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which also addresses the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act), assessed against EN 301 549, and the duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 section 20 for GCG UK.
What we've built in
- Semantic HTML with proper landmarks, a single logical heading order and a "skip to main content" link on every page
- Colour contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator at all times
- Touch targets of at least 24×24 CSS pixels
- Text that reflows cleanly up to 200% zoom without loss of content or function
- Forms with visible, programmatically associated labels and text-based error identification
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences; no auto-playing carousels or marquee content
- Left-aligned body text, capped line lengths and generous line spacing to support dyslexic and low-vision readers
- Meaningful alternative text for informative images and empty alt attributes for decorative ones
Known limitations
- Some member and partner names appear without accompanying photographs while imagery rights are confirmed; photographs added later will carry descriptive alternative text.
- Should we embed any third-party service in future, it may not fully meet our accessibility standards; we will provide an email alternative for every such service.
