Former Victoria Police Superintendent and Special Operations Group leader turned corporate security executive. He led security and surveillance at Crown Melbourne – the Southern Hemisphere's largest integrated gaming resort – from 2009 to 2022, and is now Group Executive General Manager Investigations for Crown Resorts. He was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2003 to study tactical team selection and critical incident management, and represents Australian gaming resorts on the Crowded Places Business Advisory Group of the Australia–New Zealand Counter-Terrorism Committee (ANZCTC).
At Crown Resorts, Craig established the group-wide investigative function and its governing policies, and oversees sensitive internal and external investigations – including whistleblower matters – across the group's Melbourne, Perth and Sydney casinos, acting as relationship owner for law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Before that he spent thirteen years running security at Crown Melbourne, ultimately as Executive Director and Executive General Manager, Security and Surveillance: more than 500 employees, full P&L responsibility, a seat on the CEO-chaired Business Operations Team and the chair of Crown's Emergency Planning Committee, delivering a safe environment for over 17 million patrons a year.
His 24-year Victoria Police career ran from 1985 to 2009 and included seven years with the Special Operations Group, command of the Operational Safety Division – 220 staff delivering operational safety and tactics training to 11,000 members, plus multi-million-dollar ballistic vest, firearms and taser programmes – and management of the force's Media Unit through the Commonwealth Games and G20. A 2003 Churchill Fellow, he served six years on the Police Association of Victoria's Executive Board, was appointed by the ANZCTC to build its Tactical Commander's Course, and holds a Master of Education and a Master of Public Policy and Administration (with Distinction) from Charles Sturt University.

- 1997 – 2004 Special Operations Group, Victoria Police (Sergeant, later Senior Sergeant/Inspector) Led the response to high-risk, life-threatening critical incidents including sieges and hostage situations across Victoria; redesigned the SOG intake process into the benchmark for tactical unit selection in Australia and New Zealand, and delivered the ANZCTC's Tactical Commander's Course.
