Global Consortium Group and Salt Communications Partner to Advance Secure Public Safety Communications
Global Consortium Group has announced a strategic partnership with Salt Communications to strengthen secure and resilient communications across the global public safety and security community.
Global Consortium Group (GCG), a global network of public safety and security experts, and Salt Communications, a specialist provider of secure communications technology, have announced a strategic partnership focused on strengthening secure and resilient communications across the global public safety and security community.
The partnership brings together GCG's frontline and strategic experience across policing, emergency services, counter-terrorism, national security and public safety with Salt Communications' secure communications platform.
As public safety organisations face increasingly complex operational, cyber and security threats, the ability to communicate securely – both during routine operations and at moments of crisis – has become mission-critical.
Through the partnership, GCG and Salt Communications will work together to help organisations assess their secure communications requirements, identify operational vulnerabilities and implement solutions designed around the realities faced by frontline teams, senior leaders and command structures.
Combining Operational Experience with Secure Technology
GCG brings together former senior leaders and practitioners from public safety organisations around the world. Its network combines more than 200 years of frontline and strategic experience, providing advisory, digital transformation, training, leadership and specialist public safety support.
Salt Communications provides a controlled environment for organisations and individuals to securely message, call, meet and share sensitive information. Its technology is designed for organisations where privacy, security, operational resilience and control over communications are essential.
Imran Aziz, Co-Founder of Global Consortium Group, said: "Public safety organisations operate in environments where trust, resilience and the security of information are fundamental. Communications cannot be treated simply as another piece of technology – they are an operational capability."
"Our partnership with Salt Communications brings together deep public safety experience with technology specifically designed to protect sensitive communications. Together, we can help organisations understand their vulnerabilities, strengthen their resilience and give their people greater confidence when communicating in high-stakes environments."
Joseph Boyle, CEO of Salt Communications, said: "I'm delighted to welcome GCG as Salt's latest partner. Salt is the leading provider of secure communications to sophisticated organisations around the world, and GCG brings exceptional depth of operational experience and understanding of the environments in which our technology matters most. They recognise the critical importance of secure, resilient communications for those tasked with protecting public safety, making this a natural and highly complementary partnership."
Supporting Public Safety Organisations Globally
The partnership will explore opportunities across policing, law enforcement, emergency services, government, critical infrastructure and other security-sensitive environments internationally.
The two organisations will work collaboratively to support customers seeking to strengthen communications security, operational resilience and organisational preparedness, with a particular emphasis on ensuring technology is aligned with operational requirements.
The partnership also reflects a shared commitment to supporting those responsible for protecting communities and managing some of society's most complex risks.
Imran Aziz added: "There is a natural alignment between our organisations. GCG exists to bring credible, practitioner-led expertise to the challenges facing public safety, while Salt is focused on protecting the conversations and information that matter most. This partnership allows us to bring those strengths together and create meaningful value for organisations around the world."
