John Simpson, Msc
Through a range of senior roles over more than 5 years in Saudi Arabia, and 35 years in the Fire and Emergency Response sector, John has utilised his skills and experience to meet the complex demands of the Saudi Arabian and Gulf Cooperation Council region.
John’s skills include strategically directing teams working in a dynamic legal and policy arena to deliver innovative, effective and compliant services in an evolving regulatory environment whilst meeting a high paced, results driven schedule.
With a UK Fire Service background John’s analytical, problem solving and operational planning skills were honed within the exacting multicultural environment of Greater London.
John held diverse roles covering community safety policy development and operational, training, exercising and selection process performance evaluation.
His other roles included management of LFB’s two dedicated CBRN(E) and MTFA (Marauding Terrorist) covert and overt terrorism ‘first strike’ response teams as well as operating in the politically sensitive role as Borough Commander for The City of London.
John recently took part in the 15th World Firefighter Games in Denmark combining his enjoyment of swimming and travel.
John is a husband and proud father of three adult children.
